Lamb Sausages on toasted Turkish Bread with balsamic onions & Tomato salsa
8 Saltbush Lamb Sausages
4 ½‘s of Turkish Bread Buttered
2 Onions Sliced
75 ml Balsamic Vinegar
200g Fresh Roquette
Tomato Salsa
1 Punnet Cherry Tomatoes Quartered
1 Red Capsicum Diced
¼ bunch Fresh Basil
1tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 clove Garlic Crushed
Toss the above ingredients in a bowl.
Preheat grill & oven on medium-high.
Seal sausages on a lightly greased Hot Plate & finish cooking them in the oven to prevent burning. Approx 7-10mins.
Cook onions on a well greased Hot Plate, drizzle with Balsamic Vinegar Just before serving.
Toast the buttered Turkish Bread on the Hot Plate until just crispy.
Serve The Turkish Bread topped with Fresh Roquette, Sausages, Balsamic Onions, & Tomato Salsa.
